Sunday, May 30th 2009 marked the opening round of the RC Pro West Series at Thunder Alley Raceway in Beaumont California. Most of the top factory drivers from the West Coast were on hand to contest the opening round and the competition was fierce.

The Truggy A Main saw AKA factory pilot, Ryan Lutz get out to an early lead and never look back. At the end of the 45 minute main, Ryan still had tread left on his tires. The same could not be said about his competitions tires. Ryan Lutz choice of Truggy tires was the all new and highly anticipated AKA Truggy Gridiron (14103S) in the soft compound. Great job Ryan!!

The Buggy A Main saw TQ man, Cody King get the holeshot and proceed to drive a flawless 45 minutes and eventually cross the finish line with a sizeable gap back to second place. Cody Kings tire of choice was the AKA Buggy Gridiron (14003S) in the soft compound. Great job Cody!!
