AKA ENDURO 1/10 Short Course Tire |

AKA and Short Course tire development come together to give you the AKA SC Enduro. The tire is made specific for the 2.2 – 3.0 inch wheels that are common on all Short Course trucks. The Enduro was designed with larger lugs that have been cut in various angles to provide you with great tread life but also give the lugs enough flex to give you the bite you need on a variety of different track conditions. All of AKA SC tires feature a unique inner carcass ribbing that supports the outer sidewall to the wheel and also captures the foam. This gives the tire a consistent feel across the width of the tire. Other tire manufactures leave gaps in these areas therefore the tire is not supported all the way across the width of the tire. Our tires work best on the flatter style wheels vs. the cone type wheels that leave the tire unsupported. |

AKA WISHBONE 1/10 Short Course Tire |

The SC Wishbone is the first specific indoor or hard packed tire for Short Course racing. On its very first race debut it took a convincing win at the 2010 Cactus Classic in the Pro-2 event. The tire is made specific for the 2.2 – 3.0 inch wheels that are common on all Short Course trucks. The Wishbones center bars and smaller pins gives the tire a huge advantage on hard pack or indoor conditions giving the truck more forward and side bite. All of AKA SC tires feature a unique inner carcass ribbing that supports the outer sidewall to the wheel and also captures the foam. AKA WISHBONE 1/8th Buggy Indoor Tire |

AKA is proud to announce the new “WISHBONE” tire which brings years of 1:8 tire technology to indoor racing. With indoor 1:8 racing becoming more and more popular it only made sense for AKA to enter into the 1/8 indoor tire market. After months of testing with drivers from all over the country, we feel we have something to bring to the table for these specific indoor track conditions that racers see. The tire features dense center “WISHBONE” lug design that helps give the tire both great forward and side bite. Mark Pavidis says “Being a racer myself the AKA “WISHBONE” looks to be the tire to meet racers expectations for those tricky indoor track conditions.” |

AKA Super Soft "V" Compound |

AKA is pleased to announce for the iHobby show the addition of a “Super Soft” compound to our line up of tires. The “Super Soft” or V compound as is noted in the part number is for cooler conditions when the track is transitioning from wet to a drier hard packed line that is not quite grooved in. Great for winter and early spring racing conditions. uper Soft still retains the relative long lasting wear characteristics that AKA is known for while providing that extra measure of traction for the trickiest of surface conditions. |
